Experience is crucial and scores over book learning any day in the field of private investigation, so in most cases, you can safely choose courses put together by experienced professionals.
Another critical consideration is whether or not the private eye school is registered with or approved by the appropriate state authority. The accredited school is always more credible than any non-recognized ones.
Fees for one time private eye courses vary widely, ranging from about $200 to $1000. So if you have decided to pursue a career in private investigation, to make sure that you are making the right choice of school and course, thoroughly research your options and check all relevant aspects before you commit.
The most important aspect though, is making sure you simply don't try and get by with minimal training. The private investigation business has become ultra competitive and prospective employers like to see a good degree of practical training on a new recruit's resume.

I Have an amp already. the epiphone les paul ultra II is really good though cuz it has 2 outs and the nanomag pickups.
The Gibson is a tried and true guitar. It has a great reputation and has seen service in many different genres of music. Rock, metal, country, blues, etc. Its a fantastic guitar all around.
Epiphone is Gibsons value line, yes, but its not a bad guitar when your on a budget. Build quality is at least controlled and when your looking at the Les Paul style, thats probably the model that fits your forte', more so than any of the other guitars listed. You can still purchase upgraded parts for it and soup it up without losing too much money in resale value.
Dean, makes some very cool looking guitars. As far as Im concerned, thats as far as my relationship goes with Dean. They are just cheaply made and dont cross over enough to make me happy over all. With plenty of rabid distortion I suppose anything can sound like fuzz, but sometimes you just need a good, clean sounding guitar with a solid build quality and reputation to go with it.
My personal opinion is that the SG or the Epiphone are going to be your better bets. Good luck.
