How can i turn on my latop i have a Compaq Presario 1200 model number 1456vqlin.?
OK i had this laptop and i jst found a plug that can fit into it would that be the problem? the ligth on the laptop glows up with the plug icon when i plug the plug i found in please help me?
Look on the bottom of the laptop... possibly in the battery compartment underneath the battery. There, you will see the INPUT VOLTAGE AND AMPERAGE requirements.
Now, look at the power brick you "found" and examine the OUTPUT VOLTAGE AND AMPERAGE. Do they match? If so, then you have the correct power adapter, and a broken laptop. If they do not match, then you have the wrong power adapter, and this is probably why it won't turn on.

Sony Head Unit Loses Memory...Please Help Me! ?
Sony head unit, wired it up and does not keep preset stations and also does not turn off when i remove the key from the ignition.
I have replaced the factory fitted unit for a Sony Xplod on my Peugeot 206. Have jst plugged it straight in using the connectors that came with the head unit. Will i need to buy an aftermarket ISO adapter?
I have tried swapping the Red and Yellow wires round on the back and this has not done anything.
Your help would be much appreciated!
you have your posatives connected upwrong...they need swaped over...your permanemt memory live is wired live and your live is wired in to the memory live...
