- Fatty, rounded hump high on the back just below the neck (buffalo hump)
- Flushed rounded face with pudgy cheeks
- Obesity
- Stunted growth in height (short stature)
- Virilization - the appearance of male characteristics, including increased body hair especially on face, pubic hair,acne, deepening of voice, and enlarged clitoris (girls)
Symptoms that suggest increased aldosterone production are the same as symptoms of low potassium and include weakness, muscle cramps, increased thirst, and urination.
Stages of adrenocortical carcinoma:
The following stages are used for adrenocortical carcinoma:
Stage I
In stage I, the tumor is 5 centimeters or smaller and is found only in the adrenal gland.
Stage II
In stage II, the tumor is larger than 5 centimeters and is found only in the adrenal gland.
Stage III
In stage III, the tumor can be any size and may have spread to fat or lymph nodes near the adrenal gland.
Stage IV
In stage IV, the tumor can be any size and has spread:
- to fat or organs and to lymph nodes near the adrenal gland; or
- to other parts of the body. Adrenocortical carcinoma commonly spreads to the lung, liver, bones, and peritoneum (the tissue that lines the abdominal wall and covers most of the organs in the abdomen).
Adrenocortical carcinoma treatment:
There are three types of standard adrenocortical carcinoma treatments:
Adrenocortical carcinoma Surgery
The only curative treatment is complete surgical excision of the tumor, which can be performed even in the case of invasion into large blood vessels, such as the renal vein or inferior vena cava. Radiation therapy and radiofrequency ablation may be used for palliation in patients who are not surgical candidates. Chemotherapy
Chemotherapy is a cancer treatment that uses drugs to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Can someone explain why the Eagles do go get a TOP NOTCH receiver?
Philly has a good team. When will they learn they will never get over the hump of winning a Superbowl until they get another play maker at receiver to compliment Westbrook and McNabb. Everyone else in their division have a respectable WR tandem. Plexico and Armani Toomer in NY. Moss and Randal El in DC. TO and Whitten in Big D. Why does Philly keep getting no names. I've notice that the receivers of Philly don't catch anything that's not right in their hands. McNabb needs help. They would have won that game last night if he had a go to receiver. Do you agree?

I think the hope is that DeSean Jackson will develop into that type of player. He's an excellent receiver.
Unfortunately, he's also an idiot. I'm really hoping that he's just getting all of his stupid rookie mistakes out of his system early in the season. Beautiful TD early on, but then a botched punt return, and a botched route later (resulted in an interception...which thankfully didn't result in a TD).
Honestly, if you ask me, I think the reason the Eagles couldn't pull it off last night is because they were unable to get anything really going on the ground. Even with amazing receivers, you've still gotta be able to do more than just throw the ball.
