Why are the eyes in front of the brain, however, the visual cortex is in the back?
Why do not prefer the evolution of eyes and visual cortex to be as close as possible to practice alolow the brain to receive information as quickly as possible?
For the same reason the projection booth is at the back of film and screen is on the opposite wall:-D Seriously, the speed of nerve impulses travel, makes no difference.
